Clear, practical guidance before you sit in the chair — so the cut, colour or treatment is right for you.
Skin fade or taper fade?
A skin fade takes the sides down close to the skin and blends into the hair above, creating a sharper contrast. A taper fade keeps more length through the sides and nape, so it grows out more softly. Bring a reference photo and we will explain what will suit your hair and maintenance routine.
Normal cut, fade or scissors cut?
Choose a Normal Cut if you want a good all-round appointment and are not sure how to label the style. Book a Fade or Scissors Cut when you know that is your goal. The consultation at the start decides the details.
How to prepare for a colour appointment
Book with Kim and bring a few reference images showing the result you like. Tell us about previous colour, lightening, keratin or other chemical services. Hair length, density and colour history affect timing, process and price, so we confirm the plan before starting.
Looking after colour and smoothing treatments
Every result needs a different home-care routine. At the end of your appointment, ask Kim which wash timing, shampoo and styling routine suit the specific service you received. That is more useful than generic advice.
